The CANDU team are committed to ensuring the lived experience of cancer is represented on all decision making forums and strategic boards.  We are delighted to represented cancer lived experience at the Scottish Government on the Cancer CPPG, the Macmillan ICJ in Dundee, NHS Tayside Cancer Overview Group and the University of Dundee Nursing & Midwifery School Board.

CANDU hosts & organises activities which bring together others affected by cancer to share experiences, build supportive relationships and understand the needs, wants and wishes of local people.

We are also delighted to host an annual Cancer Lived Experience Conference in Dundee.  This year we worked alongside the V&A Dundee to embed a service design approach into our conference exploring the true meaning of Lived Expertise.
