The CANDU team are committed to ensuring that the stories of people affected by cancer are shared in a way that can be both influential and meaningful.
CANDU hosts & organises activities which bring together others affected by cancer to share experiences, build supportive relationships and understand the needs, wants and wishes of local people.
We are delighted to host regular Cancer Lived Experience co-design events in Dundee and to contribute to co-design activities held by other cancer support organisations.

We are passionate that the experience of individuals is represented on all relevant health and cancer service decision making forums and strategic boards with equity and respect.
We are delighted to represent the cancer lived experience at the Scottish Government Cross Party Group on Cancer, the North Cancer Alliance, NHS Tayside Living With & After Cancer, Macmillan Collaborators, Alliance Lived Experience Community of Practice, Tayside Palliative & End of Life Care MCN & wherever we are invited to share and advise.
