The CANDU team are committed to ensuring that the stories of people affected by cancer are shared in a way that can be both influential and meaningful.

CANDU hosts & organises activities which bring together others affected by cancer to share experiences, build supportive relationships and understand the needs, wants and wishes of local people.​ We are also delighted to host Cancer Lived Experience events in Dundee.
​
We are also passionate that the experience of individuals is represented on all relevant health and cancer service decision making forums and strategic boards with equity and respect.
We are delighted to represent the cancer lived experience at the Scottish Government Cross Party Group on Cancer, the NHS Tayside Living With & After Cancer Subgroup and wherever we are invited to share and advise.
