COMPASSIONATE COMMUNICATION

CANDU is committed to ensuring person-centred approaches are embedded in all areas of cancer care.  We know how important compassionate communication is for patients during their cancer journey and are working closely with our network partners to ensure these approaches are integrated into all clinical and support services accessed by cancer patients.

COMPASSIONATE COMMUNITIES

CANDU will be visiting communities throughout 2019 to offer wellbeing activities for people affected by cancer who may have difficulty accessing existing support

If you need help with public transport costs you can access a free Xplore and/or Stagecoach bus pass at your next oncology appointment OR CONTACT US NOW.

ARTS & CRAFTS

The CANDU team also deliver creative arts and crafts workshops for people affected by cancer including Wonderbox workshops where you can join friends and make the eco-friendly, energy and money saving slow cooker, that just happens to look a lot like a bean bag!

New craft workshops will continue at various venues across Dundee in 2019 and we hope you are able to join us.  All materials are provided.

If you would like to take part in future workshops please get in touch.
